Valuat brings together people who have run funds and people who build software. We have closed quarters by hand, rebuilt regulatory reports from spreadsheets and answered the same investor questions twice.
We started Valuat because the operations behind European private markets deserve the same quality as the investment decisions they support.
WHY EUROPE
One market, many regulators, tools built elsewhere.
European alternatives are regulated country by country, reported in different formats and served by software designed for other markets. Managers absorb that fragmentation with people, spreadsheets and external providers.
We think technology can remove it: one record for the whole fund, the regulator's templates inside, and AI that does the repetitive work while experienced people stay accountable for every output.

We are building toward an industry where a manager in Madrid, Lisbon or Luxembourg runs a fund on the same infrastructure as the largest firms, where investors see their data when they need it, and where operations teams spend their time on judgement rather than reconciliation.
